What is Milky Foot? 2017-07-19T12:16:44+10:00

Milky Foot is an intense, at-home exfoliation treatment that will leave your feet looking and feeling rejuvenated. It is the easiest way to exfoliate and moisturise your feet. Milky Foot removes hardened skin, softens cracks and calluses and moisturises your feet. Milky Foot is available in most Australian pharmacies and chemists, and also through our online store.

How does Milky Foot Intense Exfoliating Foot Pad help to remove the dead skin? 2017-07-19T12:16:55+10:00

TO understand how MIlkyFoot works, it is important to understand the human skin consists of three layers – the epidermis, the dermis and the subcutaneous. Within the epidermis layer there are proteins that help to hold skin cells together. As the skin migrates to the surface over time, these proteins break down leaving the feet skin less smooth and uncracked.

These dead skin cells are saturated with keratin, which is a protein also found in hair and nails. This keratinous skin helps to protect the epidermis from external stimuli and also protect the body from moisture loss. This dead skin is significantly harder than living tissue. As such, the excessive build-up of this skin can give the feet a hard and dry appearance. In our everyday life friction and pressure is constantly imposed on the feet. Because of this friction, the skin is not able to peel off naturally. This results in the accumulation of keratinous cells which create a hard layer in which the body´s natural exfoliating process no longer breaks down the keratinous cells. If nothing is done against this build-up, the skin can become dry and crack (cracked heel) causing pain and, bleeding* and even infection in more severe cases. (* Avoid use of Milky Foot if your feet have open/bleeding wounds)
When you put your feet into MilkyFoot socks, through exposing this dead skin to the formula, it identifies the cornified layers and focusing on removing this outer layer of skin from the feet. Unlike scraping your feet or alternative treatments, MilkyFoot allows for the feet to peel gradually, without aggressive or dangerous tools, just a 45min-1hr treatment then in the coming 3-7 days the skin peels away without force or strength making it super easy.

How is Milky Foot different from other foot exfoliating products? 2017-07-19T12:17:13+10:00

Milky Foot is the most effortless way to exfoliate and soften your skin. It does not require any aggressive or electronic files that can hurt or callous your feet, nor does it require strength or ‘elbow grease’. Nor does it require filing, ointments or other time-consuming treatments. Simply wear the Milky Foot “socks” for 45mins-1hr and 3-7 days later, hardened skin and calluses will just shed from your feet effortlessly. Within 7 to 10 days, your feet will be soft, smooth and ready for anything!

How is Milky Foot different from other exfoliating foot pads on the Australian market? 2017-07-26T16:24:20+10:00

MilkyFoot is the most premium foot peel available in Chemist Warehouse, all good Australian pharmacies and online via this website. Our contoured or ‘3D’ sock is exclusive to Milky Foot and at 45mins-1hr, the treatment time is the shortest of any foot peel sock on the Australian market.

Milky Foot’s design allows for the most effective treatment because the contoured, fitted boot helps maintain contact between your feet and the formulation in the socks, providing a more comfortable and rapid treatment. The formulation penetrates thorough the foot’s sole, sides, toes and heels.
MilkyFoot is also the only product on the market that works in 45min to 1hr with other treatments taking between 90 minutes and 2hrs. Milky Foot allows you to get on with what is important to you.

Who should use Milky Foot? 2017-07-19T11:55:40+10:00

For both Men and Women. Especially for those with hardened dead skin cells and callus on the feet.

What precautions should be taken when using Milky Foot? 2020-03-04T14:12:16+11:00

Like many cosmetic products, if you’re a first time user, we highly recommend completing a ‘spot test’ with the Milky Foot Formula. Simply cut  a small opening in the sock and apply a small amount of the formula on a soft part of your sole or ankle to test the sensitivity of your skin. Leave this on for 20 minutes and wait to see if any allergic reaction happens in proceeding 48hrs.  All skin types are different and you may have a specific allergic reaction to an ingredient in the Milky Foot formula.

The socks are only to be used on the feet, and prolonged use over large areas of body or on inflamed or broken skin should be avoided.

Additionally, the treatment socks should only be worn for the time specified on the product.

Who should avoid using Milky Foot? 2017-07-26T16:21:56+10:00

Unless directed by a medical professional, Milky Foot is not to be used by pregnant or breastfeeding Women or Children. Milky Foot is also not to be used by diabetics due to foot circulation and the sensibilities some diabetics experience in their feet. Please stop using Milky Foot immediately and wash your feet throughly if a burning sensation or allergic reaction takes place. We recommend to seek medical advise if symptoms persist.

How often should I use Milky Foot? 2017-07-26T16:03:51+10:00

Individual results may vary however, we recommend using MilkyFoot every 2 to 3 months to keep feet looking great and feeling smooth & soft.

How long will my feet stay soft and smooth? 2017-07-19T11:53:29+10:00

Depending on how often you are using your feet on rough surfaces, outdoors etc will depend on how often you use Milky Foot. It is really dependent on dead skin build up. We do not recommend using the product within 6 weeks of your next treatment.

Some exfoliating products can be painful. Does Milky Foot hurt? 2017-07-19T11:53:10+10:00

No, there is no pain either during application or later when the dead skin peels off. It is not recommended that you peel your skin off, but rather allow the skin to come off without force. If skin irritation does occur while using the product then stop using immediately.

Are there any other precautions I should consider? 2017-07-26T16:11:02+10:00

If you have a history of skin allergy such as eczema, nail fungal infection or open wounds, we recommend you consult your healthcare practitioner before using the product.

We always recommend a spot test of the formula on your skin for 10 minutes for first time users. Simply apply a dab of the formula from the sock onto a part of your foot. If no reaction occurs, you’re safe to use Milky Foot!
